Self Referral

Most referrals to other specialists will require you seeing or speaking with a GP. However, there are a number of local services, listed below, that you are able to make self referrals to.

Community Urgent Eyecare Services (CUES)

The Community Urgent Eyecare Service (CUES) provides urgent assessment, and treatment for sudden onset eye problems such as flashes, floaters, vision loss or minor eye injuries, for residents of Bedford, Luton and Milton Keynes.

TOKKO – Counselling

We provide a safe and confidential environment for young people aged 10-18 years old.We offer 1-2-1 talking therapies with a qualified counsellor in partnership with Sorted Counselling. It allows young people to explore their thoughts and feelings in a safe and non-judgmental environment. We help the young person to discover their own solutions and ways of coping so they gain the confidence in their own ability and develop the skills that will aid and support them through this difficult period

Talking Therapies Luton

There are many ways that Talking Therapies can help you to improve your wellbeing. Everyone who refers themselves for help will receive a screening assessment. This is normally 30-40 minutes and can take place over the telephone or face-to-face. After this screening assessment the clinician will discuss with you which options they feel would best meet your needs.This service is available to those over 16 years of age.
